Intersect Flow Through Swivels
The intersect FTS is a specialist tool for HDD Intersects, allowing each drill pipe to be rotated independently in a clock wise direction on by allowing the entry side string to be rotated without rotation or torque being applied to the string or BHA on exit side. A lockable mechanism also allows full torque to be transmitted to the BHA below. The result allows rigs on both sides to independently rotate and provide fluid to the reamer.
