SlimDril International manufacture heavy-duty slips and bowls used primarily when drilling uphill to safely hold back the weight of the drill string. By independently securing the drill pipe, slips and bowls allow safe working around the drill string during make-up, break-out and operational pauses. The robust jaws pull into a tapered bowl, gripping the pipe securely and providing reliable load holding in demanding HDD environments. Each set is manufactured to suit the specific drill pipe dimensions and application.
