Torque & Break-out Services
SlimDril International provide professional make-up and break-out torque services for HDD and drilling contractors. SlimDril have the capability to make and break all drill pipe connections from 2 3⁄8″ OD to 8″ OD, with a maximum make-up torque of 90,000 ft-lbs, using our purpose-built break-out unit based in Lowestoft, UK.
This service ensures drill pipe connections are assembled and disassembled safely, accurately, and in line with manufacturer and API requirements.

Supports all premium connections, with full make-up graph recording available for quality assurance and traceability.
Integrated Thread Inspection Support
Thread inspection services can be carried out prior to and upon break-out, ensuring connections are assessed before re-use.
Floating Head for Accurate Alignment
Floating head design allows accurate alignment during assembly, reducing stress on threads and connections.
All Rotary Connections Assembled
Capable of assembling all common rotary drilling connections to specification.
